Hello! We at CRAVE Nails & Tats would like to take the time to apologize for not being able to provide services for the public. We are in the middle of restructing our oganization.

We will be returning soon to fulfill any obligations that we may have, but we will return in a different location, and with more quality Nail Technicians. In business there will be many obstacles, and embarrasments, but we must "Get up, dust ourselves off, and keep going."

We appreciate all the positive words that we have received. And for all the negative ones, and complaints, "TRUST US, WE HEARD YOU," and we are trying to address all the issues.

Until next time, "Thank you and take care of each other. "

Well it has been some weeks now and Minx Glamour Makeup has done a great job at promoting and using CRAVE Beauty products. There have been some good reviews from Ashlie about the products and we at CRAVE are optimistic about the future.

We are currently looking for a boutique style PR firm to work with to reach our target market. We want to do things the correct way and reach persons that are appreciative of the CRAVE Beauty line. We are also developing a media campaign to promote CRAVE Beauty with some talented MUA's and fashion bloggers in various parts of the country. We want as many people as possible to sample our products. If you're interested please contact us at: [email protected].

You can find us on Facebook (CRAVE Beauty), and Twitter (CRAVEBeautyUSA). We appreciate all "Likes," and followers.

Until next time, "CRAVE Beauty - It's As Simple As That!"

We Value Your Business

Well, we have been open now at Gibraltar Trade Center for 2 weekends now, and we have had some memorable moments. The first moment was that which involved our FIRST COMPLAINT! :(

The client came in to receive a $20 Mani/Pedi deal that was purchased through a daily deal. We did the normal and greeted the client, and her friend, with a smile and a "Hello." The Nail Tech performed the services, and the clients were thanked for patronizing our business. After we captured their information, they left and we thought that we did a good job. A couple of hours later we found out differently on Facebook. Here is a copy of the post on Facebook:

"This was the strangest mani- pedi I ever had. No massage chair, No soaking, no scrubbing or filing callis. In the middle of Gibralter on a very un comfortable chair.. This should just be called a polish change because that was not a mani/Pedi.. Im NOT a fan of waterless service."

CRAVE Nails & Tats did not just become a whim that we decided to make happen. At least 1 1/2 years of research was put into the whole business idea. "We value our clients, and we are proud of what we can do because we try." There are a lot of people that let fear hold them back and they never know what can be. Just to be clear, we are addressing the issues that have been raised by the short lived client, and for future inquiries:

  • We are located inside of Gibraltar Trade Center. The space is enclosed, and we do have water access that can allow for a foot scrub, or soak. There is also a private area for services.

  • We use disposable implements so we can be clean, and sanitary.

  • We do not have a fancy space, with a pedicure spa chair. We have furniture that is functional, and efficient.

  • We bootstrapped this company to avoid debt. We selected the location because of traffic, cost, and the ability to have a good client base that can appreciate what we do.

  • We treat a client with respect and we appreciate anyone that patronizes our business.

  • We respect the nail and tattoo industry, and we are looking forward to growing our small business.

  • We respect all members of CRAVE, and we expect the same from others.

We hope that you will visit us and get to know us. We value what we have done, and look forward to new opportunities.

Until next time, "Be kind to each other." :D

How Do We Determine Pricing?

The economy is, what it is, we all know this. We are all looking for ways to cutback, save money, and look for deals. We have our breaking points on what we will, and will not, pay for certain services. We at CRAVE believe in being upfront about things that a client may question. So here is an answer to a commonly asked question: "How do we determine our pricing?"

Our answer is simply, "We value the persons at Crave Nails & Tats for their skills, and their time. We price according to industry standards, the ongoing training for the staff, as well as our current overhead costs. We respect the staff at CRAVE, and we pay them accordingly."

We hope that you will support us in our efforts to provide some great services, by skilled, and respected persons.

And We're Off...

Well the day finally arrived. On Friday, April 6, 2012, CRAVE Nails finally opened to the public and soon after had its first client! We were a little nervous but things went well. Jessica performed a basic mani/pedi that was purchased through a daily deal that we had participated in. It was a simple, and pleasing experience.

After receiving phone calls about the waterless process that we practice, and where exactly we are located (inside Gibraltar Trade Center), our first Saturday as a CRAVE team was filled with support, and good conversation. The only mishap that came to be was running out of foot files. :( That was embarrassing for me as the owner because I order the supplies, but I did the right thing and apologized for my oversight.

We implemented using our New Client Sheets and people were cool about filling the forms out. One customer thought it was nice that we wanted to know about them so we can provide services that are beneficial to them. I also took the time to thank each client for coming in to visit with us. It was nice to see a client smile at me because I said a simple, "Thank you for coming to see us. We appreciate it."

As we prepare for our next weekend of business, we are grateful to be able to see this dream come true. Our location may be just a simple, basic space with bright furnishings, and signs made by hand, but our heart, and determination to succeed is in everything that we do. "We hope that you will visit with us soon. Please continue to support CRAVE as a small business, with room to grow.

Until next time..."Be good to each other.8)

Oh! I almost forgot to say, "Thank you to Jessica (Nail Tech), and Ashlie (MUA), for being apart of the CRAVE experience."

The Light At The End

Well it is now March and we are still working to open the studio. We have had some highs and lows throughout this process, but we are still continuing forward with our dreams.

Who would have thought that in this economy, we would have a hard time finding Nail Techs to help us provide great services to our future clients. We have been diligent in our search for qualified, talented people and we hope every day that we will get closer to our goals.

On the tattoo side, we have been able to meet some talented individuals and we are so grateful that they are interested in partnering with CRAVE to create a great environment. Soon we will start to profile some information about the Tattoo Artists that will be creating some awesome ink at CRAVE Nails & Tats8)

CRAVE Beauty is shaping up nicely. We have teamed up with a great rep within the huge cosmetic industry and we are feeling good about the first lineup of products for men and women. We can't wait until the first photo shoot for the CRAVE Beauty line. :D

Well, that's enough for the most current update on our  happenings. Until next time..."Don't give up. Keep going."
